With a strong family history of heart disease, Alina grew up unsettled, believing that it was only a matter of time before she, too, had a heart attack. It wasn’t until a grade 9 health seminar that made her realize that it didn’t have to be this way. She was inspired to take charge of her health through nutrition, and to help others enjoy food while living their longest and fullest lives possible. Alina finished her education in 2016 and has been helping individuals live their best lives ever since! This is why she couldn’t be more thrilled to continue this work with Lilac & Leaf Wellness.

Alina is passionate about sushi, tiramisu cheesecake, cats, travel, and nature. Her favorite activities include burlesque dance, cuddling her cats, camping, and eating with her family and friends.

As a Registered Dietitian, I help individuals and families build realistic, sustainable eating habits that support their health goals while still making room for enjoyment, flexibility, and the realities of everyday life. My approach is evidence-based, compassionate, and personalized, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to nutrition. I work with clients experiencing a variety of nutrition concerns, including women’s health, digestive health, food intolerances, diabetes, heart health, weight concerns, family nutrition, and general healthy eating. Together, we’ll explore practical strategies that fit your unique lifestyle, preferences, culture, schedule, and health needs. My clients often describe me as thoughtful, thorough, and easy to talk to. I take the time to understand the bigger picture: not just what you’re eating, but the factors that influence your relationship with food, health, and well-being. Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis, feeling overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition information, or simply looking for guidance on creating balanced eating habits, I’m here to help. My goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes at your own pace. Together, we’ll focus on building practical skills and sustainable habits that support long-term health.

Hi, I’m Angela. I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, along with additional training in Perinatal Psychology, trauma-informed practice, grief, dissociation, and systemic family therapy.

My approach is integrative, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy is about more than learning coping strategies, it’s about having a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported as you make sense of your experiences at your own pace.

My role isn’t to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and respect for your unique story. Much of my work is guided by the understanding that our relationships, family systems, emotions, and the different parts of us all shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us. Together, we’ll gently explore these patterns, making space for self- understanding, healing, and a meaningful change.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions, with a particular focus on supporting women. I have extensive experience walking alongside women recovering from intimate partner violence and coercive relationships, and I also enjoy supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, fertility journeys, identity changes, and the many emotional shifts that can accompany different stages of life.

Whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can be a place to reconnect with your values, strengths, and sense of self.

Originally from Spain and now living in Canada, I bring both personal and professional experience of navigating change, identity, and belonging. As a mother of three, I know that caring for others often leaves little room to care for ourselves. While every person’s journey is unique, becoming a parent has deepened my appreciation for self- compassion, flexibility, and the importance of having support through life’s busiest and most demanding seasons. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me gardening, hiking, exploring new places, or spending time with loved ones, especially whenever I can visit family and friends back home in Spain.

I offer therapy in English, Spanish, and Catalan, and welcome adults from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for a space to better understand yourself, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
